my dream lolita dress from faunkegin finally arrived on wednesday, i’m so happy! i got sick wednesday evening and i fell asleep, then the only way i got up was because my mom said the package arrived ^_^
my seller was really sweet and patient with me, so i gave her a positive feedback even though it took a while to ship it out but i don’t blame her!
ANYWAYS. of course i’ll be having a photoshoot…as you can see now!
this was literally minutes after i got it XD hence the tired eyes and super causality.

i got a giant balloon from my friend sabrina, two bags of animal crackers and chocolate milk from my friend maytal, and now the BEST PACKAGE EVERRRRRR from my new online friend named ashlyn! :]

AT FIRST, i didn’t even bother looking at the contents. i was just like okay screw this it’s gonna take forever to see all the goodies, so let me open the LETTERS AND PERSONAL REGARDS FIRSTTT. i’m so responsible.
jk haha i saw the cupcake and i was like BITCH!! i’m opening that.
there were a few letters, some kind of personal that i didn’t want to show (imma look out for a bro, ashlyn! ;D) and a cute letter about a new idea from ashlyn! i’m totally in support of this; i can’t wait to send out the first rila :D
also, there was a butterfly sticker inside the envelope. scandalous.

i had finals at school; math and history…i think i did fine though! school ended at noon :D
one of my really good friends bought me a ginormous balloon for me, and some others gave me cards. i love my friends! my parents remembered this year, as usually they don’t and then i assume in the middle of the day someone mentions january 20 and my parents are like OH right sara’s birthday yeah forgot about that. :/
anyway! i could NOT decide where i wanted to take photos! outside, the lighting was so bad (i had to edit it really heavily) and inside the lighting was all yellow and yuck. but i think after the editing they came out well!

SO i was able to style the keith haring shirt i got from UO as part of my christmas haul into an outfit!
i wore it on a ‘date‘ with my friend. well, it wasn’t a date. he was visiting from his boarding school and we had lunch. it was fun. we went to some really trendy downtown restaurant and it was just so full of lols the whole time :]
a n y w a y s ! i really like how the photos came out. not the effects or anything, but i think im finally getting used to using flash in this stupid daylight savings time (it getting so dark so quickly and all)
call me a hippie, but whatever. besides, i’m doing robot moves at the end. that’s not hippie. that’s 80′s.

bag – betsey johnson leather line; it was ripped in the pocket so it was majorly reduced but i was able to fix it. yee haw!
i found out from my friend whose parents work at google, that dwight schrute, aka rainn wilson was touring silicon valley and was going to a famous booksellerbooks inc. in mountain view to sign a copy of his new booksoulpancake! so considering i was only minutes away from this destination, i decided to pay a visit to the emmy-award winning actor!
he began speaking about the book at 7 for half an hour and began the signing after. i couldn’t go because i had to be at physical therapy (i dislocated my jaw!) so i took a chance and went at 9:00. LOL! and he was still there, and the store was still packed (it was packed to begin with; i called the store!) and people were still buying his book.
so i took some stalker pictures, and after a half hour waitit was finally my turn and i said;
‘HI! i’m sara!’ and he said ‘nice to meet you. thanks for buying my book.’ and i said ‘yeah! HEY we have the same birthday you know.’ and he said ‘really? january 20?’and i was like ‘YEP! it’s pretty crazy!’ and he said something like ‘what a coincidence.’ so then i said ‘you’ve probably heard it a lot, but you’re a really big inspiration to me and my friends.’ and he said ‘thanks, i’m glad.’
he even wrote happy birthday to me. d’awww.
apparentlyyou weren’t allowed to take posed shots, because it would ‘take too long‘, so a co-editor of the book took two pictures of us talking, but later i saw some other people doing it so i said;
‘excuse me can i take a picture with you?’ while he was writing on someone else’s book. and he said ‘if you can make it in 5 seconds without anyone else noticing then yes.’ so i said ‘that is DEFINITELY possible.’ so while he was still writing on the book he was counting down from fivewhich i thought was really funny, and then we took an awkward picture and i thanked him a million times and left. :)
he’s a really nice person and a great actor. i’m glad i could meet him. later at the counter once everyone was starting to leave, i said to the cashier;
‘you know, he’s actually very different in person.’ and she said ‘oh really? i guess so, since he’s just playing a character.’ and i said ‘yeah. an insane character. but that’s what makes it good.’ XD
