things i’ve bought recently

just a random necessary update :D

i went to japan town in SF a few weeks ago and picked up some random things!

i’ve definitely bought more than this but i can’t even keep track of what’s new and what’s not anymore T_T

a sanrio 50th anniversary sweatshirt–i totally saw this on someone’s blog but i forget who it was D: she was so cute! AND LOOK IT’S DOUBLE SIDED! it was a whopping $50 though. + SF sales tax…curse  you, SF sales tax!

we also happened across this hat! it was chilling in the back of kinokuniya in the kids section ;D there  were other ones but icebat is my and has always been my favorite uglydoll! $20.

i probably won’t wear out in public…but it’s a nice collector’s item! there’s a girl at my school who wears it, haha it’s awkward but on the bus it’s so funny the way adults look at her! (not in a bad way…like they think it’s cute too XD)

and finally, i stopped by a boutique with my mommy and we bought this shirt! it’s from…tulle? and it was about $43 :D

sweet things giveaway from stacywahhh!

HEY GUYS!

a long long time ago i won stacywahhh‘ssweet things giveaway, exciting! i only got it last week though, because of a lot of mix ups and stuff + the japan earthquake, etc. but it’s finally here and i thought i’d share!

the reason it took so long to post was because i use the same type of boxes as stacy apparently (flat rate boxes) and i thought that i had sent a package out and put my address in the TO box and theirs in the FROM, so i was really annoyed that i had to pay extra shipping, but then i realized that the way my name was written on the box was different because the a’s looked like traditional a‘s and not the type i write that look like A (gahhhh how weird) so yeah! hooray!

i forgot to take a picture of the cupcake soap and the cupcake lollipop but they’re adorable! and i ate the lollipop YUM YUM SUGARYNESS! <3

happy-sad ;; dilemma?!?!

HEY EVERYONE!

i have super exciting news! after nearly 4 years of searching, i’ve finally found the open roads/menswear free people dress in red that i’ve always wanted. it’s finally mine!

i’ve been so eagar to get it ever since i saw it in merry christmas drake & josh, worn by miranda cosgrove who plays megan.

however i’m rather upset. i am really annoyed at the pleating on this dress. it really doesn’t do justice towards my torso area, as i haven’t gotten…very many curves there? lmao idk, it just looks so sloppy and awkward!!

i purchased it in my normal free people dress size, which was very lucky since it’s extremely rare, but i also found it in one size larger but i thought it would be ‘too big’ which is why i went with the smaller size…and now i’m nervous that it’s either too small or just looks weird at my torso! everywhere else fits EXCEPT THE MIDSECTION! x_x

i’ve tried wearing a VERY light petticoat, since in the photos below it seems miranda cosgrove is wearing a red slip(?) and i think it just makes my hips look…wider. >_< honestly.

i’ve tried wearing my best spanx, which i wore under my graduation dress which helped me fit, and it kind of defines my shape but barely.

i know i’m not a model and they’re extremely skinny but i still feel like the fitting/pleating shouldn’t have been an issue :(

i don’t want to make any alterations or anything but i want to be able to make this dress work on me! :(

i’ve wanted these kinds of glasses for a while so it’s nice to know they have them XD

the gold rim looks really pretty, and overall the sunglasses look flattering. i wish there was a way to model sunglasses online for yourself — my face is so weird shaped it’s hard to find nice ones for me :(
