pic unrelated, it’s just a model of the purse on my lookbook ~!
sorry this is a repost– i felt it didn’t belong with my runway post >_<
hey everyone! here’s a random update on the last few months.
everything is starting to work out now, i’m pretty happy. these last few months have been horrible since i had a bitchy buyer who was trying to purchase my lime green chanel purse. basically what happened was i sold the bag for $1800. [edit] to make it straight, my mom bought this purse for OVER $3000. it was already fairly priced. she used to BUY IT NOW button to buy it and demanded a $300 refund that we never agreed on. at the time, i hated the bag and i wanted to get rid of it so i agreed but i told her she had to pay $50 for insurance + tracking, etc. so the total was $1550. i had to pay two paypal fees; $52 ish for the $1800 transaction part and then the refund had cost me $9. the buyer told me that i would be refunded those fees and i never was. so this idiot gets the bag and sees small TINY GRAY MARKS in the threading of the bag. well of cousre, it’s a vintage 15 year old purse, it’s not brand new. i accidentally listed it as brand new because i never actually used it, it just sat in the closet but kind of turned gray i guess. so after 2 weeks i lose the ebay case of course and the purse is sent back to me … in a freaking payless box. yes, the crappy payless shoes box. and i was like … bitch where’s my official CHANEL box + dustbag?! WTF?!
so i called ebay and first demanded to be refunded the paypal fees, which i was…after being referred to like 3 people, and since the buyer won’t send back the items, they refunded me $300.
unfortunately another horrifying backstory is, i didn’t think this bitch would have the nerve to demand a refund so when she paid me the $1800, after refunding $300 i decided to move $400 to my bank account. bad move. because after i had to give her the refund, i was around $300 in negative funds in my paypal. i thought, okay, i can work this off by selling my things on ebay… nope. they tried to take it out from my bank account, which has like no money (maybe … $50?) so paypal, my bank service, and ebay were getting crazy about it. my mom was of course horrified and i was just a really stressed out 15 year old who didn’t think financial issues should have been so impossible.
ANYWAY. paypal refunds me the $300 and luckily i was down to $224 in debt so they took the $300 to make up for the negative amount i had, and i had technically made $80 ish from it. i love the bag now and it’s featured in the runway i’m about to show you, but i just wanted to let you all know my crisis and to be really careful NOT ONLY ON EBAY but in selling online in general. when you list something that has never been used, it’s still pre-owned, got it? DO NOT LIST IT AS BRAND NEW. that was the biggest wrong move i had made.
RUNWAYDEJAVU THIS IS FOR YOU. YOU RUINED A LOT FOR ME YOU STUPID BITCH. you made me stressed out, in debt for a long time, you distracted me from school by CALLING ME IN THE MIDDLE OF CLASS EVEN WHEN I TOLD YOU NOT TO, your stupid screaming asian family was always yelling into the phone (it wasn’t even children, it was some man).
people like you are horrible. you have no class. you figured you could just ‘borrow’ the purse and issue a refund. you took advantage of me.

[...] i know you guys are probably tired of seeing this purse (if you follow my blog, i post about it once in a while) but come on, i have major bragging rights! they don’t even make this color anymore!!! you can read about the time when i tried to sell it and it ended up horribly here. [...]
[...] anyway, i’m here to rant to you about my eBay and paypal horror story. i wrote one here a while back (click to see) [...]
