BTSSB Giant Pink Gingham Headbow - $40 $32 + $6 shipping OBO
had a previous owner who wore it once for a photoshoot, i think.
i have never worn it, i kind of  bought it out of pressure, unsure of if it would match my dress or not (the rose gingham OP in pink).
it matches perfectly, but as you can tell i don’t look too great in headbows because my bangs are strange and i don’t have any wigs to help with the styling XD
so here it goes to a new home!
i would say the only defect is at the BTSSB tag–there’s a string of thread coming out of the bottom right, but it can be trimmed, and doesn’t affect any part of the headbow.

summer shopping at macys~!

WTF guys i just made this post and everything got deleted…im really mad…T_T

anyway sorry if that showed up in your feed all blank.

i went summer shopping with my mom on may 30th at macys and made up some outfits. enjoy!

this first outfit is a cute one shoulder top and leopard skort from free people :] haha, skort. it’s shorts that look like a skirt ;D

here’s the same top, but in a more casual coordinate with my AG coords that i wore that day :]

you can completely see my bra in this next pic…LOLOL anyway the top is from BCBG and the same leopard skort from free people. i like the beachiness of this pic, and i think the shirt looks nice half tucked in.

same BCBG top with polka dot skort from free people. notice how it looks more french, wheras the other one looks more beachy…or at least in my opinion it does. hmmm!

and the same top again, but with BROWN free people polka dot skort! it was one size too big though so it looked too baggy, ugh.

i like the colors  together though! but i think my favorite skort with this top was the black polka dot combo :)

here’s a marc by marc jacobs sweater that i ADORE but couldn’t afford…well i mean my mom could, but not me x_x

and free people polka dot skort! i actually love these skorts…i think i might buy the polka dot ones…

okay, this was a complete fail. i wanted to wear a marc by marc jacobs skirt that was 2 sizes too big. hence this outfit became a fail. but  you can see how i thought it might have worked…right? XD

now, THIS beuat was a pastel marc by marc jacobs dress. it was one size too big, but i think it was still okay.

you can find it at bloomingdales, piper lime, and saks! i recommend you look at how it looks on the runway on the saks page (just click the link) it looks SO beautiful!

this next dress is from the see by chloe line. therefore it was like, $500. it was also size 10. that’s 10 sizes too big. LOL but look how pretty it is! or…could be…on someone else…

see? the model makes it look great…because she had the right  size…T_T.

this is a really big free people henley that i liked but, like i said, was huge. the colors go together well though! :)

and…the same top with leopard skort.

let’s just not say anything about this. you and i both know why.

(if you’re not catching my drift, it looks terrible. and i look like i have bulging fat coming out from over the top. LOLOLOL)

i was literally stalking this dress on freepeople.com for ages, just to find that it’s extremely unflattering. good thing i didn’t buy it, lol! oh and this is an XS. look how it eats me alive in this pic! AND, i’m even securing it with my hand in the back! X_X.

lastly, here is an ADORABLE swimsuit from DKNY…i tried it on actually and it sucked. ah well.

fanime 2011; and what could have been.

hey everyone! this is just a post about how i WANTED  to go to fanime but ended up not. it’s sort of a rant post to get me away from studying for finals, which i wasn’t really doing anyway…but thats besides the point.

basically i was waiting all year since AX 2010 to go to fanime. i missed out so much last year with all the lolita events and stuff! so in january when i got my dream item, the dreamy dollhouse salopette, i knew i would wear it for fanime.

this did not happen.

why?

i have a friend i’ve known since 4th grade that i’ve gone to fanime 2008, 2009, and AX 2010 with. shes a real sweetheart and is extremely kind. but she is smart too. she knows when to ignore someone when she doesn’t want to speak with them. in this sense i mean if i IM her on aim with something she doesn’t care about, she merely does not respond. which happened to be the case.

i thought i could find a friend that would tag alone with me to go to fanime. being only 15, i was terrified of going myself. a bright pink, OTT, 15 year old sweet lolita walking among noob cosplayers and creepy men who don’t belong there didn’t sound like a joyride to me. [lack of better words...joyride...fail] anyway, so the friends i went to  the AP opening with couldn’t go because one had to study for finals and the other lived too far away  to drive down :/ so i resorted to asking my friend that i mentioned before. she said it would be fine if i went with her but mentioned that she would be with her friends/fans from deviantART, since she is a popular artist there. that makes sense and i honestly had no problem with it!

so i asked her what time and when. no. response.

a day later. what time and when. no. response.

i figured okay, i can just text her when i get there! no reply. maybe i should call her…bam. i realized that she got a new phone since we had gone to AX 2010, and never updated it since i don’t see her anymore. i sat awkwardly in the car for TWENTY MINUTES. just sitting. a bright pink lolita next to an angry asian mom who was complaining about how bad i was at planning stuff.

i was deciding whether i should pay $25 to just go because i know the shopping is fun, but i noticed there were literally no lolitas and tons of weird weeaboo teens. i mean it’s fanime, so what did i expect…but i decided against it.

on our way back, my mom needed to stop by macy’s to buy a coffee maker, so away we went.

most funny moment of my life!!!

i somewhat strutted through the perfume/makeup department, and tons of (what looked like) single 25 year old girls with snooki makeup, in which their eyeshadow extended to their eyebrows and beyond, stared in awe at me. i just lifted my chin up and continued to  the escalator. my mom and i scurried around the kitchen and appliances section until we found what we wanted. it was so funny seeing a lolita carrying a mini toaster, and that is all i have to say XD

that was my first time wearing lolita in a non-lolita environment though, and it was really interesting. on my way to the car, one of the makeup gurus who saw me earlier said ‘hi there, i love your outfit!’ as i passed by. i cutely said thanks, in a way that my voice sort of cracked LOL. and then on my way out, i didn’t dare turn around but it seemed like a mother and her 20 or so year old daughter were wondering if i was a doll, or a fairy, or a giant barbie. wrong. D. all of the above. HAHA!

so that’s my story of why i didn’t go to fanime. i’m really sad that i couldn’t do all the fun things and shop, but i PROMISE i will go next year. if i can’t, i think i will explode!! i’m aiming for saturday next year. saturday, and better planning! @__@
