in case you didn’t see…PART ONE!

let’s get right to it, then!

hmmm where were we…RIGHT, so i just finished what i had bought from the mitsuwa market

OKAY so then i went to a small asian shopping center and saw this cute boutique that i pop into once in a while. it’s imported from korea, but not the cheapish store. the quality is always really good. most of these were presents from my mom for my late birthday (jan 20.)

this was a beautiful and EXPENSIVE headband that is handmade, so each jewel was put on one by one.

the funny korean owner gave my mom and i discounts because we shop there a lot and bought a lot of stuff, so instead of a whopping $35 it was $25. eeek, still. but it’s beautiful.

i also bought a new pink mohair coat! it’s ADORABLE! i can wear it with lolita and casually! i wore it to the BABY THE STARS SHINE BRIGHT store in san francisco and the shop girls loved it! :D

unfortunately…i think the collar is real rabbit fur. this disappoints me because i had two white rabbits. however, i’m not against fur (as long as the limbs aren’t attached and ew…) so it’s fine by me.

i think that’s why the price tag was $260. but the kind old lady brought it down to like $189 just for me. yay.

the color is most like the first picture. the rest of the pics are distorted T__T

bows on the pockets!

how cute is this! a bow on the back and pleats<3

how unfortunate is this…ahem, introducing: CHEAP LINING. oh well, it still keeps me warm and nobody can see it so i don’t really care XD

made in korea. OOH LA LA!

awkward model shots. oh hey, pajamas!

it’s not very flattering when buttoned up….over pajamas…

this is how i might wear it ! this is a dress & shirt set i got at a european clothing store :]

the dress is really mori-style/long, so i don’t really wear it that much~

and just for the heck of it, this is an outfit i wanted to wear to school…but, too short! @__@

no // yes

what i wore, with the new coat! <3

close up of my hair!

can  you see the braid?

you sure…?

ta-da~! i learned it from my old popteen magazine. it looks cute and natural!

andddd somewhat fishtail/side braid, and the urban outfitters scarf ashlyn gave meeeee

my new accessory box from the last post

finally, a place that my false eyelashes can go besides shoved under my desk!

all [err...most of!] my bracelets :D

a bracelet from anthropologie! i wanted this really badly last time i went during winter break but it was $60! i bought it for…drum roll please…$9.95!!!! :D

i should post things besides fashion. so, this is the fatty foods i bought! :D

the yellow bag of candy and the blue bag of candy is SO GOOD. one is chewy caramel things and one is sweet and sour candies eee!

and look at this sweet gift my friend got me! there were super good truffles, sugary heart candies, lip candy things, see’s candy bar, and a handmade card aww!

PA nail polish (i’m selling this!) there’s nothing wrong with it, just i decided it needs a better home!

ANDDDD my mom was tired of always lookin for rilakkuma/san-x things with me so she just bought me whatever at the kinokuniya  gift store in SF :] it’s the one that is downstairs of sofie’s crepes :D

look what i bought ashlyn! ASHLYN DON’T LOOK!

——————————-

——————————-

——————————-

eeeee!

TIME FOR THE ULTIMATE.

READY?

K.

R I L A K K U M A RUG (er. it’s a lap blanket.)

JEALOUS YET?

NO WORRIES i didn’t buy it for $103 freaking dollars. i bought it for $40! yay me!

i use it as a rug and i love it, but it’s supposed to be a blankie~

fuzzy!

last but not least, kutusita nyanko mousepad! the rilakkuma one was uuuglyyyy u_u

you know how rilakkuma is a play on words of relax (rirakkusu) and bear (kuma)?

well, kutusita means socks! it’s supposed to be pronounced kutsushita, and it’s easier to say that, but it’s some kind of way of saying ‘we want to seem western..’i

and i went to nordstrom’s rack! free people cardigan $98 to $39.99!

an alternative apparel plain white shirt for iron on transfers!

oh…jealous of my glow in the dark pants? thought so.

i made a chanel shirt iron on transfer thing~ not on this shirt though. this one was just on a test shirt from kohl’s hahaha.

(inspired by intagibleee)

idk what to say…THESE ARE SO GOOD

LAST BUT NOT LEAST! marc jacobs satchel bag thing!

retail…$158

purchased…$89 ;D

IT’S SO CUTE I’M IN LOVE

TATA FOR NOW ;)

hey everybody!

so basically a week ago, i entered a contest on facebook literally at the last minute to win one of three of the rilakkuma characters in the ‘rilakkuma shop’ outfits  that can only be bought at the limited stores in japan.

i came across this contest because i was wondering if there would be a pop up shop for rilakkuma in san francisco someday, since there was one in LA and one recently in culver city, CA. so the girl whose blog i was looking at who had posted pics of the event in culver city told me to go to the official english san-x facebook page. which i did. and lucky for me they were ending a contest as soon as i entered ^_^

proud to say, i was one of the winners! unfortunately not rilakkuma BUT korilakkuma which is still really adorable!

oh, and let me add that they shipped it friday and it came MONDAY! FAST FAST :)

you only had to answer 5 what seemed to be simple questions:

1. What is Rilakkuma the most insecure about? [a: having his zipper lowered]

2. Which part of Rilakkuma’s body Kiroitori would bite when Kiroitori is upset? [a: tail]

3. What costume did Rilakkuma debut for the Rilakkuma 5th Anniversary? [a: all dressed as kings!]

4. What would kind of Rilakkuma goods would you like to be able to purchase in the U.S.A? [a: i said, more of the plushies  that are usually only available in japan ;o;]

5. Please list your full legal name, mailing address with zipcode & email address. [a: :D]

out of the people who answered right, they would pick 3 random winners. i’m really lucky i guess! :D :D

here are my photos now; it arrived in a small box, and inside was this ADORABLE double sided bag…

and rolled up inside, was……..!

IT’S SO SORT AND CUTE AND AAAAAAAAH! the apron is somewhat removable but i dont want to take it off.

i’m so happy! it’s so rare, and on ebay it’s worth $50! @___@ i just feel so special right now.

a new one, for the collection! yee haw.

the bag is hanging above my desk now. aahhhh it’ll be cute to look at when i go to sleep:

(from the angle of my bed, sorta)

chillin with some of the new compadres. i bet kori feels weird next to his clone that doesn’t have an apron o__O

(they’re the same material, too! except i bought the non-apron one in the sanrio store for $10 and the matching rilakkuma one in japan for like $8 XD)

and other news; I BEAT QWOP! if you don’t know what that is, it’s this impossible running game in which you must use the keys QWOP to run. it’s like impossible. i beat it in 12 minutes though! (from 5:22 PM to 5:34 PM BWAHAHAHA)

my proof pics [i know what you're thinking; WOW SARA'S AWKWARD]

ew fat thighs IM SORRY

ANYWAYSSSSSSSS

i’ll be making another post soon, about my friend’s birthday, my cats XD, gemma correll [new favorite artist] and more. i should have another haul soon too; still waiting on my sephora order i made OVER a week ago…it’s gonna be crummy, guys.

OH! and i just sold my dr martens! too bad if you missed out! :P just kidding, but yes i did sell them. sorta. just waitin’ on a payment. ^_^

my older brother who is a sophmore in high school won a scholarship to japan for 6 weeks to homestay and visit sony headquarters. blahdeeblah blah you can read about his awesome adventures here if you are interested.

so he left around june 11th and arrived  back july 27th (so like a day ago). and today he remembered that he bought my family and i presents! i’m only posting my presents because my parents’ were really traditional things and my younger brother didn’t really get any presents…(aww :/ but he didn’t really care i guess. i would have been PISSEDDDD)

that’s besides the point, considering he did give me presents. so i will present them to you in the order that i opened them!  these were the bags for me (not including food, which i am not posting) all together. [shown right]

remember to click for bigger pictures! hooray. the pink one is most eye catching, so i picked it first. what could it beeeee~?

it was my pal, rilakkuma!

aw! so cute. now he can be added to my collection. i told you it was growing! next was a present that wasn’t wrapped, but it was still adorable nonetheless.

how it looks on my wall. i might change the spot later. (as you can see, it’s not that big in comparison to a skateboard. but i love it! and for those of you who are curious, the katakana to the left of hello kitty reads ‘soft cream’.)

the next present was the present that the host family as a whole exchanged with my brother, as a tradition that japanese people do. it was an onigiri bag! so cute!

and lastly, my brother’s homestay’s sister ayane bought me a hello kitty pencil. so sweet of her!

i’m so happy and grateful that the family was so kind. i am going to apply for a scholarship like my brother did in two years…that will be such a great experience if i get it, too! that’s all for today, sorry for two posts in one day, people of the world reading my blog

jya ne! (see you!)
